Course Details
This four-day course offers students the opportunity to dive deep into the common data gathered during criminal investigations. With over twenty-five practical exercises built into the course throughout the four days, students get a lot of opportunities to build their skills and understanding of cellular records.
Day 1 - Students will be introduced to a plethora of law enforcement resources available to them to assist with investigations, they will learn about cellular technology, terminology and its evolution. Students will be introduced to the CellHawk software and its use in analyzing not just call detail records, but different sources of data collected by law enforcement during investigations.
Day 2 - Students will be provided with historical call detail records (CDRs) from the main cellular service providers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile & US Cellular). Instructions will be provided on how to interpret the records and the valuable information they contain in…
